Good News!

The first four books of the New Testament are called Gospels which literally means 'Good News'. They are 'eyewitness' accounts of the life of Jesus on this earth. If the story is true it is simply the best news ever and at the very least warrants a thorough investigation since the stakes could not be higher...everything...forever!!!

Did You Know?

• There were many prophecies foretelling the coming of Jesus (birth, death, and resurrection) written over 700 years before (1st Coming)

• Jesus coming was heralded by a great prophet (John The Baptist) also foretold over 700 years in advance (Isaiah 40:3-8)

• Jesus performed many miracles including raising a man from the dead who had been buried 4 days earlier (John 11:38-44). The man's name was Lazarus  and the Jews who conspired to kill Jesus also planned to kill Lazarus because many were believing in Jesus because of him. (Miracles)

• Jesus showed himself to his disciples and as many as 500 people following his resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-8).

• All of Jesus disciples (Apostles) went willingly to their deaths because they Knew these things were true. Who would do this for a lie?!

• Jesus allowed himself to be crucified to save the world from their sins (John 3:16-17).

• What Jesus death and resurrection means to you?

• Our calendar marks the birth of Jesus some 2000 years later (pretty notable don't you think?)

• Jesus will return to enter his reign on earth.
